Jean M. Carlson

Mrs. Jean M. Carlson, age 78 of Bates Township, died Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at Marquette General Hospital, Marquette, MI. Born: August 1, 1928 in Bates Township, MI The daughter of the late Louis and Lillian (Waite) Krempasky attended the Crystal Falls schools, graduating with the Class of 1946. She married Paul Carlson on November 22, 1952, and the couple were lifelong residents of the Bates Township area. She was a member of the Bates Modern Homemakers and enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, and working in her flower garden. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Krempasky and son-in-law, Kenneth Osier. Jean is survived by her husband, Paul one son, Dave (Donnalee) Carlson of Caspian, MI one daughter, Darlene Osier of Bates Township, MI one sister-in-law, June Krempasky of Waukesha, WI 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren many nieces and nephews Visitation: Sunday, May 27, 2007 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River, MI Funeral Services: Sunday, May 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev.
