Jeanette M. Cottom

Jeanette M. Cottom, age 82, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls, MI. She was born on April 10, 1938 in Crosby, MN, the daughter of Jack and Taimi (Kari) Bodie. She attended the Crosby-Ironton schools, graduating with the Class of 1956. Jeanette married Paul Cottom on May 13, 1972 in Manhattan Beach, CA. The couple celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary in 2020. She was a member of Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall in Iron River. She was active in the church and enjoyed helping people to understand the Bible. Jeanette is survived by her husband, Paul; son, Michael (Penny) Daniels of Iron River, MI; daughter, Christina (Carlos) Vivanco of Longmont, CO; brother, David (Lori) Rantasha of Elk River, MN; sister, Barbara (Stanley) Jones of Aitkin, MN; grandchildren, Sierra, Austin, Lucy, Manny, and Maya; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
