Jeanette M. Kuehnle

Jeanette M. Kuehnle, age 93, of Lake Bluff, IL, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018. She was born on February 21, 1925 in Iron River, MI; the daughter of the late Enfred and Hannah (Shoquist) Larson. She left for Chicago, IL in 1945, where she briefly attended nursing school then became an executive secretary at Signode Corporation. Jeanette married Robert Kuehnle on July 11, 1953 in Iron River, MI. The couple would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary in 1998. Robert preceded her death on May 30, 1998.  She sang in several choirs, loved animals, traveling, and sailing. She also enjoyed art and collecting antiques.  Jeanette is survived by her son, Robert (Susan) of Gurnee, IL, daughter Kim of Lake Bluff, IL, sons, John (Arlene) of Manitowoc, WI and Ken (Sherry) of Columbus, OH;  5 grandchildren: Robert, Matthew, Amanda, Kate and Mary; 5 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Spencer and Chester Larson and her sister, Dorothy Kluchka.  Interment will be in Bates Township Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 with Pastor Dawn Robbins to offer prayers at the graveside.
