Jeffrey E. Gossel

Jeffrey E. Gossel, age 57, of Caspian, MI, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at his home. He was born April 3, 1960 in Flint, MI, the son of Ernest and June (Pailari) Gossel. He attended the Mount Morris High School, graduating with the Class of 1978. Jeffrey married Katherine Mathews on May 12, 1989 in Crystal Falls, Michigan. The couple recently celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary this year. He enjoyed hosting large bonfires, listening to rock-n-roll music, and his favorite place to be was at camp. He also enjoyed helping people, and was always willing to lend a hand, when needed. Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; sons, Sawyer Gossel of Caspian, MI, James (Rachel) Gossel of Gainsboro, KY and Joseph Gossel of Cadillac, MI; daughter, Shawna (Trebor) Gossel of Cadillac, MI; parents, Ernest and June Gossel of Iron River, MI; brother, Daniel (Mona) Gossel of Clio, MI; sisters, Michele (Brian) Hunt of Grand Haven, MI and Susan (Patrick) Hebert of Frankenmuth, MI; and four grandchildren.
