Jerald P. Dunn

Beloved Jerald Patrick Dunn, age 70, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Aspirus Iron River Hospital. Jerald was born on May 6, 1948 in Waukesha, WI, the son of the late Joseph and Dolores (Hoffman) Dunn.  He attended the Arrowhead and Waukesha, WI schools, graduating from Waukesha High School in 1966. Jerry had an infectious smile, a warm heart, and a wonderful sense of humor.  He was a talented mason for over 50 years.  First and foremost, he loved his family and friends.  He enjoyed the outdoors, including canoeing, camping, hunting, and fishing. He enjoyed building miniature craft cabins .  His pride was sharing his cabin with family and grandchildren, spending time at his property on the river, and being with his golden retrievers Guss and Tillie.   He was a generous, caring man, always willing to help anybody in need.  He is survived by his loving significant other, Sandy Crosslan; his dear friend and mother of his children Karen Dunn; son, Dale (Catherine) Dunn; daughters, Jennifer Dunn, Shannon Dunn, and Charlene Dunn; brothers, James (Jackie Rux) Dunn and Joseph (Jeanne) Dunn; sisters, Jeanne Ann (Jack) Frederickson, Jacqueline (Charles) Stevens, Julaine (Tom) Nampel, Jill Reid-Olson, and Kathleen (Robert) Hoff; his five grandchildren Liam and Elliot Dunn, Alexander Wright, and Christian and Grace Ella Green; his brother in-law, Kenny (Jean) Christianson; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.   He was preceded in death by a brother, Patrick Dunn. Michigan visitation will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 4:00 to 5:45 PM, at the Beechwood Hall. Memorial service will follow at 5:45 pm with Pastor Chuck.
