Jerry M. Applin

Jerry M. Applin, age 64, of Iron River, MI passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. He was born on November 3, 1957, in Stambaugh, MI, the son of the late Jay Lee Applin and Judy Ferm. Jerry attended the Iron River Schools. He was employed as a general foreman for Asplundh prior to retiring. Jerry enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, and working on cars. Jerry is survived by his sons, Jered (Sarah) Applin of Iron River and Cody (Elise Paisley) Applin of Bloomsburg, PA; brother, Scott Applin of Milwaukee, WI; grandchildren, Kali, Carter, and Sutton Applin and one on the way; nieces, nephew, extended family, and friends. He was also preceded in death by his bothers, Tom and Lee Applin. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. at Resthaven Cemetery with Pastor DJ Rasner to officiate.
