Joan H. Lambert

Joan H.Lambert, age 80, Stambaugh, MI, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at Marquette General Hospital, Marquette, MI Born January 27, 1926 in West Allis, WI The daughter of Joseph and Irene (Kriesel) Marcelja attended Milwaukee High School, graduating in 1939. She was a member of the 879 Local Culinary Union of Fairbanks, working in the culinary field for pipeline construction from 1968 until 1989, when she moved to Stambaugh. She was also a member of the DAV Auxiliary and the American Legion Reino Post 21 Auxiliary. She enjoyed working on ceramics. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph, her mother, Irene Knutson, and two brothers, Joseph and Richard Marcelja. Joan is survived by one son, Roy David Lambert, Fairbanks, Alaska Three daughters, Colleen (Daniel) Riedl, Phoenix, AZ Mary Lambert, Canby, OR Kathleen (Robert) Stevens, Stambaugh, MI One sister, Gale Christenson, Iron Mountain, MI Six grandchildren Seven great grandchildren Two great, great grandchildren Private services will be held Interment: Long Lake Cemetery, Long Lake, WI Funeral arrangements by the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River, MI.
