Jody P. Parker

Jody P. Parker, age 56, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024. He was born on March 31, 1967, in Racine, WI, the son of Linda Gean (McPherson) Parker and the late Haskel Lee Parker. Jody married Jayne Meachem on February 18, 1984, in Kenosha, WI. The couple celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary in 2023. He was a self-employed roofer. Jody was a member of the Cornerstone Bible Church in Iron River. He enjoyed fishing, camping, watching the tv shopping networks, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Jody is survived by his wife, Jayne; daughters, Amanda (Ben) Parker of Caspian, MI and Erin Parker of Iron River; grandchildren, Kitana McGeshick Parker, Austin Parker, and Katilaina Parker; great grandchildren, Aaliyah Parker, Keilynn Parker, and Harleigh Parker; brothers, Haskel “Spike” Parker of Eagle River, WI, Joseph (Sulliana) of Iron River, MI, and Russell (Jill) of Kenosha, WI; sisters, Jill (John) Albanys of Iron River, MI, Jana Sparks of Iron River, MI, and Joy Parker of Iron River, MI, Debra Parker of Phoenix, AZ, Sandra Estes of Maui, HI, Barbara Gardner Parker of Phoenix, AZ, Rebecca (Anthony) Rescigno of Virginia, Cynthia Parker of Eagle River, WI, and Anna (Scott) Parker of Alaska; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Cornerstone Bible Church. Funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor Rocky Farley to officiate.
