John A. Hahn

Mr. John A. Hahn, age 65, Amasa, MI died Thursday, October 11, 2007 at his home. Born: March 4, 1942 in Macon, GA The son of Willard and Katie Mae (Stevenson) Hahn moved to Lawton, MI as a young child with his mother. He attended the Lawton Schools and was a member of the Lawton High School Football Varsity Team for four years, earning the Michigan All State Team - Defensive Tackle. John enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1962, serving for four years. In 1971, he moved to Georgia where he owned and operated the Hahn Tree Service until his retirement in 2004 when he moved to the Amasa area. He was a former member of the United Methodist Church of Macon, GA. John was also an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his father Willard, mother Katie Mae, brothers Steve and Willard, and sister Katherine. He is survived by his wife, Lana One son, Stephen (Janice) Hahn of Paw Paw, MI Two daughters, Teresa (Kent) Davis of Macon, GA Deborah Wilson of Morrow, OH One sister, Georgia Mae Hayes of Macon, GA Four Grandchildren, Remi and Levi Hahn Christy & Lara Davis The family suggests donations to the Bethany Lutheran Church of Amasa. Per the wishes of the deceased, no visitation or funeral services will be held.
