John F. Halada

John F. Halada, age 73, of Long Lake, WI, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin.  He was born April 16, 1944 in Stambaugh, MI, the son of the late Jack and Grace (LaBine) Halada. John married Cyndy Sullivan on July 17, 1965 in Crystal Falls, Michigan. The couple celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary last year.   He was employed as a logger for many years and enjoyed hunting and trout fishing.   John is survived by his wife, Cyndy; daughters, Gina (Tom) Pritzl of Menominee, MI, and Tracey Halada of Weston, WI; brother, Larry (Linda) Halada of Long Lake, WI; sisters, Geraldine (Wayne) Pagel of Green Bay, WI and JoAnn (Dan) Hannigan of Menominee, MI; grandchildren, Jessica (Chance) Riedy of Woodruff, WI, Rachael (Tyler) Kirby of Sugar Camp, WI, John (Morgan) Schwenn of Soldier’s Grove, WI; great grandchildren, Niah Schwenn, Cynthia Riedy and Sophia Kirby.     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Marlene Carmitchell and Jacqueline Halada, and infant brothers, Frances and Alan Halada.
