John V. Harriman

John V. Harriman, 66, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital.

He was born on October 3, 1958, in Atlanta, GA, the son of the late John C. and Mary Jo (Livingston) Harriman. John attended the Temple, GA Schools, graduating from Temple High School.

John married Sheila Tucci on February 1, 1984, in Atlanta, GA. They celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary this year.

Prior to retiring, John was an artist and painter. He enjoyed painting on canvas, reading, listening to music, and spending time with his family.

John is survived by his wife, Sheila; son, Jesse Harriman; daughters, Jessica (Joseph) Cohran of Iron River and Rachel Harriman and Melissa Harriman, both of Iron Mountain, MI; brother, Randy Grindstaff of Georgia; sisters, Wendy Harriman Anderson, Brandee Harriman Williams, and Nikki Harriman Banks, all of Georgia; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Harriman.

Private family services will be held.
