John L. Hoinowski

John L. Hoinowski, 70, of Gaastra, MI, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024. He was born on October 25, 1954, in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, the son of the late Robert and Dora (Rosetti) Hoinowski. He attended the West Iron County Schools, graduating with the class of 1973. John was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. John married Lee Langdon on December 5, 1985, in Waukegan, IL. The couple celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary this year. Lee preceded him in death on July 2, 2024. He was employed as a bus driver and janitor for West Iron County Schools. John enjoyed fixing computers, playing cribbage, working and fixing things around the house, and being a helping hand for other people. John is survived by his children, Linda Ester of Morristown, TN, Krystyne Lee Christ of Serverville, TN, Tammy Crystal Leopard of Iron River, John Michael (Lindsay) Hoinowski of Noblesville, IN, Amber Lynn (Rick Alcorta) Hoinowski of Green Bay, WI, and Tawny Chere Porter of Neenah, WI; brother, Mike Hoinowski of Iron River; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family, and lots of friends.
