John K. Kosmatka

John K. Kosmatka, age 70, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at United Hospital-Regina Campus in Hastings, MN. He was born on October 25, 1952, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of the late Alvin and Marian (Znoroski) Kosmatka. He graduated from Greenfield High School. John married Linda Andryk on December 29, 1973, in Milwaukee, WI. They celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary in 2021. He owned Layton Park Auto Body in Milwaukee,WI. John enjoyed cars, especially classic cars, and spending time in the U.P. and with his family. John is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, Edward (Jessica) Kosmatka of East Troy, WI and John (Meaghan) Kosmatka of Waterloo, IA; daughters, Kristin (Mike Loughead) Kosmatka of Marine on St. Croix, MN and Katharine (Patrick) Rengers of Osceola, WI; brother, Dan Kosmatka of Iron River, MI; sisters, Christine (Ed) Hoffman of Elijay, GA and Annette (Jim) Carlson of Hibbing, MN; sister-in-law, Barb Kosmatka of Duluth, MN, and sister-in-law, Judy (Dennis) Sorenson of Franklin, WI; grandchildren, Izabella, Iris, Adealia, and Edison; niece and nephews, extended family and friends. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Larry Kosmatka. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River.
