John J. Menucci

John J. Menucci, age 66, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born on March 30, 1956, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, the son of the late William and Elaine (Fettig) Menucci. He graduated from Muskego High School in 1975. John married Karla Vandervort on August 22, 1987, in Muskego, WI. They celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary in 2021. He cherished and loved her to the last. He was a self-employed wood artisan. He enjoyed woodworking, tinkering, keeping bees, camping, and was an avid outdoorsman. John was a member of Grace Covenant Church in Iron River. John is survived by his wife, Karla; sons, Will (Lynn Holt) Menucci of Fort Worth, TX and Anthony Menucci of Novi, MI; brothers, Robert Menucci of Norway, MI and Robert (Karen) Ristow of Florida; sisters, Rae Ann (Mark) Kressin of Florida and Robin Menucci of Burlington, WI; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who were as close as family. He loved well and deeply and his friends and family felt his pride, interest, and pleasure in their lives and accomplishments every day. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Menucci and sister, Terri Zeman. John believed deeply in the promise of resurrection and prayed often for his family both here and gone. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 4:00 pm at Grace Covenant Church with Pastor Mike Poindexter to officiate.
