Jon H. Miller

Jon H. Miller, age 71, of Iron River, Michigan, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. He was born April 17, 1945, in Hazel Park, Michigan, the son of the late Haskel and Genevieve (Wilson) Miller. He attended the Hazel Park Schools, graduating with the Class of 1965. He then attended Central Michigan University for four years. Jon was employed by Chrysler as a robotic technician for 35 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his children, John A. Miller and Tammie (William) Wilson; brother-in-law, Larry Basaj; five grandchildren, Coral Miller-DeGraff (Christopher), Anthony Miller (Gabrïellä), Kate´Lynn Miller, Alexander Wilson, and Rose Wilson; eight great grandchildren; and his many “Yooper” friends.    He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Basaj.
