Jonathan Parker

Jonathan Parker, age 38, of Iron River, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 11, 2020. He was born on December 21, 1981 in Kenosha, WI, the son of Edward O’Brien and Joy (Parker) McAdams. He attended the West Iron County Schools and graduated.    Jonathan married Paige Nichols on October 3, 2014 in Gogebic County, MI.  He was a gardening enthusiast and teacher.  He was a member of the Cornerstone Bible Church.  He enjoyed playing and writing music, spending time with his children, enjoying the outdoors, kayaking and fishing. Jonathan is survived by his wife, Paige; sons, Elijah, Jack, and August Parker, and Bentley Mattson, all of Iron River, MI; daughters, Brooklyn DeLong of Delaware and Paris Parker of Iron River, MI; brothers, Michael (Nicole) and Matthew (Amanda) Mitchell, both of Iron River, MI, and Randy Ide of Milwaukee, WI; sister, Emma O’Brien of Oak Creek, WI; grandmother, Geanie Parker and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at the Cornerstone Bible Church in Iron River.  Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Jill Albanys to officiate.    To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Jonathan Parker, please visit our flower store.
