Joseph ""Joe"" M. Baclich, Age 51, of Iron River, MI, died May 19, 2007 at Marquette General Hospital, Marquette, MI. Born December 17, 1955 in Wyandotte, MI The son of the late Steve and Jeanette (Dembroski) Baclich attended the Southgate, Michigan schools. He married Debra Jo Lau on May 11, 1977 in Wyandotte, MI, and the couple moved to Iron River, where they made their home. Joe worked at Ski Brule in Iron River. The light of Joe's life were his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and yard work. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Debra; daughter, Natalie, and a brother, Robert Northrup. He is survived by two sons Gerard (Sarah) Baclich of Iron River, MI Joseph Baclich, Jr. of Iron River, MI. one brother, John (Cindy) Baclich of Southgate MI three sisters, Mary Baclich of Woodbridge, VA Ann (Mark) Clem of Wyandotte, MI Janis (Kent) Hitchcock of Warren, MI two grandchildren, Austin and Elizabeth parents-in-law, Edward and Marilyn Lau of Iron River, MI nieces and nephews Memorial Service: Saturday, May 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Iron River, MI. with the Rev. Michael Rucinski to officiate. Interment: Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery, Flat Rock, MI.
