Joseph Cattani Age 75 Watersmeet, MI Passed away after a valiant fight with cancer on Friday, August 03, 2012 at Northstar Health System, Iron River. Born: March 18, 1937 in Caspian, MI The son of the late Joseph and Perina (Bastinello) Cattani resided in Iron River, atttended the Iron River Schools, married, had children, and was a loving father. He worked as a truck driver, miner and handyman until he was employed as a Security Guard at the Lac Vieux Desert Casino for over 16 years, retiring in 2004. Joseph was always smiling and everyone knew him as Grandpa Joe or Uncle Joe. An accomplished handyman, he enjoyed building things for people in the Watersmeet area. He is survived by his daughters, Nora Norman (Al Bossenberger) of Iron River Barbara (Terry) Herren of Iron River Julie (David) Baumgartner of Iron River Brother, Daniel Cattani of California Sister Theresa Thompson of California Grandchildren, Rebecca, Robert (Dana), Rebbeca, Bruce (Camille), Tashina (Michael), Harvey, Sarah, Zachary, James (Tammy), And Mary (James) Great grandchildren, Seth, Ean, Kloe, Lane, Chase, Michael, Cecilia, Gianni, Piper, David, Talon, Eric, Natil, Sophia, Kelsie, Austin, Nicholas, Gianna, Daniella, and Michael Nephew, Terry Emerson Three aunts, several cousins and extended family His special companion, Rose Martin Her family, Willy (Sali) Martin, Giiwe Martin, Sadie (Leon) Valliere, Cole Belongie, Waaban (Ken) LaRock, Mae (Rich) Zelazny Rosie Marie Martin He was preceded in death by his son, William Cattani, granddaughter, Natil, and sisters, Diane Condon and Donna Cattani. Visitation: Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River. Funeral Service: Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Caspian, with Rev.
