Joyce L. Anderson

Joyce L. Anderson, age 90, of Watersmeet, MI, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the Iron River Care Center. She was born on December 8, 1929 in Bellwood, IL, the daughter of the late Harry and Josephine (Keisers) Smith. Joyce married Ralph L Anderson on December 14, 1946 at St. Simeon’s church in Bellwood, IL. She lived in Bellwood, IL raising her family there and also in Elmhurst, IL. Upon Ralph’s retirement from the US Postal Service they retired to Venice, FL. Later she moved to Watersmeet, MI with her son James. She enjoyed spending time with her family and all water activities including fishing and water-skiing. Joyce is survived by her son, John (Susan) Anderson of Berkeley, IL. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph and her sons, James and Ralph E. Private services will be held.
