Joyce L. Menghini

Joyce L. Menghini, age 74, Caspian, MI died Monday, September 10, 2007 at her home. Born: May 2, 1933 in Two Rivers, WI The daughter of the late Lester and Gertrude (Kibby) Prue attended the Hermansville, MI Public Schools. She was employed by the Westside Adult Care Center for many years as a caregiver, retiring in 1990. She married Martin Menghini on September 3, 1957 in Crandon, WI and the couple made their home in Iron River. She was an avid sports fan. She loved to work on puzzles, play cards, and do crosswords. She also loved watching birds. She was also preceded in death by her sister Alice Rabbey. She is survived by her husband Martin Two sons: Martin Menghini of Green Bay, WI John (Kristi) Menghini of (Gibbs City) Iron River, MI Three daughters: Susan Moore of Caspian Pauline (Bernie) Skoviak of Green Bay, WI Jody (Clifford) Hookenson of Caspian, MI Two brothers: Robert (Mae) Prue of Montana Gerald Prue of Montana Two sisters: Marie Malone of Florence, WI Patricia Day of Idaho 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren Special friends: Joyce Upperstrom, Sharon Sovereen, Ann Grahn, and Dr. Richard Bruner Visitation: Friday, September 14, 2007 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River. Funeral Service: Friday, September 14, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River, with Rev. Mark Ryan to officiate. Interment: Resthaven Cemetery, Iron River.
