Judith ""Judy"" M. Fisher Age 87 Iron River, MI Passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Northstar Health System, Iron River. She was born December 6, 1924 in Iron River, MI to the late Arthur and Esther (Carlson) Edlund. She attended the Iron River Schools, graduating from Iron River High School with the Class of 1942. She then completed her nurse 's training at Illinois Masonic Hospital and was employed as a Registered Nurse for over 25 years. Judy married Donald James Fisher on March 24, 1951 in Iron River and the couple made their home in Bergland, MI until his death in 1985. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Iron River and the American Legion Auxiliary. Judy loved being around people and enjoyed music, dancing, and playing cards. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Frances Fisher (John Girdzus) of Westford, MA Sister, Frances (John W.) Jamar of Iron Mountain, MI Granddaughter, Olivia Marie Girdzus Niece, Judy (Roy) Jones Nephews, Dr John (Dr. Rosemarie) Fisher John P. (Dianna) Jamar Special friend, Stan Guzowski Visitation: Monday, September 24, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River Funeral Services: Tuesday, September 25th at 11 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church, Iron River, with Rev.
