Judy A. Oberlander

Judy A. Oberlander, age 72, of Iron River, MI, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at Aspirus Iron River, Hospital. She was born June 9, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of the late James and Ruth (Junkermann) Lee. Judy married Wayne Oberlander on August 23, 1980 in Eagle River, WI, and the couple celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary this year. She was employed as an X-ray Technician at the Phelps Clinic for 5 years. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed making blankets, cooking everyone’s favorite meals, and especially loved her family. Judy is survived by her husband Wayne; sons, Jeremy (Sarah) Oberlander of Iron River, Chad (Tabitha) Evenson of Mesa, AZ, David Oberlander of Eau Claire, WI, and Kyle Oberlander of Iron River; daughters, Kimber (Gary) Hattendorf of Phoenix, AZ, Jennifer Oberlander of Racine, WI, and Amy (Vlad) Milkovic of Gilbert, AZ; sisters, Wendy, Karen, and Heidi; ten grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and extended family. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Iron River.
