Julia Ann Zorzin

Mrs. Julia Ann Zorzin, age 89, Caspian, MI died Wednesday August 27, 2008 at the Iron River Care Center, Iron River. Born: October 3, 1918, in Alpha, MI The daughter of the late Nicholas and Agatha (Jacobinski) Hoholek attended the Alpha schools and was a lifelong resident of the area. Julia was employed at Coleman Products for 11 years prior to her retirement. She married Adam Zorzin on June 2, 1941 in Crystal Falls, MI and the couple celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary in 2002. Adam preceded her in death on November 4, 2002. Julia was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Caspian, St. Anne's Society, and Third Degree Order of Mt. Carmel, and enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was also preceded in death by one son, Ronald; four brothers: John, Walter, Andrew, and Tony; three sisters: Mary Hill, Ann Long, and Helen Parker. She is survived by two sons; David (Dorothy) Zorzin of Greenfield, WI Eugene (Barbara) Zorzin of Hudson, WI Two daughters; June Recla of Appleton, WI Elaine (Jim) Baumgartner of Caspian One daughter-in-law, Susan Zorzin of Iron River, MI Five brothers; Joseph (Lois) Hoholek of Green Bay, WI Michael Hoholek of New York, NY Stanley Hoholek of Marquette, MI Frank (Delores) Hoholek of Crystal Falls, MI Louis Hoholek of Alpha, MI One sister, Stephanie Ventimiglio of Warren, MI 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren Nieces and nephews Visitation: Saturday, August 30, 2008 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River. Funeral Service: Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Caspian, with Rev. Raymond Zeugner to offer the Mass of Christian Burial. The Ladies of the St. Anne's Society will form an honor guard at the Funeral Service. Interment: Stambaugh Cemetery, Iron River. Funeral arrangements by the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River.
