Karen M. Clements

Karen M. Clements, 71, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson in Iron Mountain, MI. She was born on May 7, 1953, in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Carl Rudoph and Stella (Kisiel) Anderson. She attended the area schools, graduating from West Iron County High School with the class of 1971. Karen married David Clements on May 8, 1971, in Iron River, MI. The couple celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary in 2020. Dave preceded her in death on October 11, 2020. She was employed as a medical coder for the hospital before retiring. Karen enjoyed shopping, being outdoors, and mowing her lawn. Karen is survived by her sister, Nancy (Thomas) Werra of Leroy, MI; brother, Reinhold Anderson of Iron River, MI; special friends, Patti Cowell, Nancy Ponozzo, and Peggy Freeman; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Harvey and Roger Anderson and sister, Christina Jubert. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. A Liturgy of the Word service will follow at 11 am with Fr. Daniel Fosu to officiate. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery. The family would like to thank Fr. Mike for providing Sacrament of the Sick.
