Kathleen A. Spanos

Kathleen A. Spanos, age 73, of Iron River, MI, was reunited with her husband on May 7, 2023. She was born on January 11, 1950, in Evergreen Park, IL, the daughter of the late Howard and Lois (Lick) McCormack. Kathleen married William Spanos Jr. on December 24, 1966, in Cook County, IL. They celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary in 2019. William preceded her in death on November 10, 2020. Kathleen was a pet lover and enjoyed the companionship of her bird, Tweety, and especially her dog, Pixie. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. Kathleen is survived by her son, William III (Bexi) Spanos of Iron River, MI, daughter, Dawn Marie (Mike) Carroll of Palos Hills, IL; sisters, Debbie McCormack of Indiana and Carol Wedick; three grandchildren, Kenneth, Stephanie, and Andrew Spanos; one great granddaughter, Gianna Marie Spanos; nephews, Jeff and Jason McCormack; extended family and friends.
