Kenneth A. Javoroski

Kenneth Allen Javoroski, age 81, of Iron River, Michigan passed away peacefully near his home Saturday, June 27, 2020. Ken was born on March 16, 1939 and raised in Bates, MI and was the son of the late Margaret and Martin Javoroski. He attended Iron River High School and married Dorothy Henriksen on November 28, 1959. They moved to Beechwood shortly thereafter, raised three children and have been residents ever since. Ken retired from Layne Northwest after nearly 40 years of service. He loved to go fishing and boating, as well as playing bingo and cribbage. He was a very active member of the Beechwood Historical Society, where he spent much of his time restoring and preserving the history of Beechwood. Attending auctions scouring for antiques and tools was also a favorite pastime. Kenny was a talented welder who prided himself on making or fixing anything. You could always count on Ken if you needed a helping hand. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Henriksen Javoroski; daughters, Lynn (Ed) Cook and Debra Javoroski; son, Louis (Heather) Javoroski; sisters, Marion, Sandy, Shelly, Carol; brothers, Eugene, Jerry, Bill, Tom, Jim; grandchildren, Nicole Welch, Gary Welch, Lillyan Javoroski and Makayla Javoroski; great grandchild, Shyann Brown; He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donny, Raymond and Duane. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 10:00am at Rosehill Cemetery in Iron River with Pastor Chuck Sheffler to officiate.
