Kurt C. Wagner

Kurt C. Wagner, 66, of Tinley Park, IL, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019 in Nelma, WI.  Born August 6, 1952 in Blue Island, IL to the late Charles L. and Jule C. (Pahlke) Wagner.  He attended the Blue Island Schools, graduating from Dwight D. Eisenhower High School. Kurt’s many work experiences included: being a handy man, working on cars, building electronics, and being a ham radio operator.  His life passions included riding motorcycles, canoeing every year and traveling the country in his motorhome, visiting over 40 states.  Kurt is survived by his daughters, Lauren Maihack of Arlington Heights, IL and Jennifer Deseve of Nashville, TN; siblings, Dave (Colette) Wagner of Orland Park, IL, Tom (Susan) Wagner of Tinley Park, IL,  James Wagner of San Diego, CA and Paula (Tom) Bialek of Arlington Heights, IL; grandchildren, Kylie, Danielle, and Thomas; nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and his loyal dog Peanut. He was preceded in death by his brother Gary (Fern) Wagner. A public memorial service will be held at Beggars Pizza in Blue Island on May 5th from 12-4pm.
