Lance P. Luckey

Lance P. Luckey, age 76, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born on November 5, 1947, in Racine, WI, the son of the late Jack Luckey and Jacqueline Luckey Mianecki. He attended the Racine Schools. He owned and operated Luckey’s Sport Shop for over 47 years. Lance was a member St. Agnes Catholic Church and the Builders Union. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing and hunting and was a fishing guide. He also liked working on cars. Lance is survived by his wife, Gloria Pollock; daughter, Jamie (Dave Sanders) Luckey; stepsons, Jesse (Laura) Knipp and Mike (Laura) O’Leary; brothers, Marvin (Annette) Mianecki and Joey Fosbinder; sisters, Rita Chickey, Kris Luckey, and Thea Mianecki; many grandchildren and several great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jay Luckey; stepson, Jason Knipp; and brothers, J.D. Luckey and Blaise Mianecki. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
