Lanny W. Studdard

Lanny W. Studdard, age 74, of Conover, WI, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Aspirus Eagle River Hospital. He was born on January 28, 1950, in Burnsville, MS, the son of the late Hardie and Margrette (Barnes) Studdard. Lanny attended Tremper High School in Kenosha, WI, graduating with the class of 1968. He then attended Northwestern University, earning a bachelor's degree. He was the owner and operator of Lanny’s Fireside Supper Club in Conover for 19 years. Lanny was active in the community. He loved cooking and being around people. He was also the founder of the Northwoods Blizzard Blast. Lanny is survived by his brothers, Ronnie (Jae) Studdard of Nelma, WI and Bobby Studdard of Pennsylvania; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James Studdard and sister, Charlotte Studdard. Private family services will be held. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Alvin, WI.
