Larry M. ""Norgie"" Johnson Age 81 Iron River, MIDied April 1, 2012 at his home Born: June 27, 1930 in Chicago, IL The son of the late Gustaf and Agnes E. (Asplund) Johnson attended the Stambaugh Schools, graduating from Stambaugh High School with the Class of 1949. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.Larry was employed at Coleman Products for over ten years, retiring in 1992 and at the Lac Vieux Desert Casino for over ten years.He was a member of the American Legion Reino Post #21. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and going to the casino.. He is survived by close friends, James Clark and Jessica Nordling. Memorial Service: Friday, April 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River, with Rev. John Fish to officiate. The West Side Veterans will accord Military Rites at the service.
