Leonard J. Bociek

Leonard J. Bociek, age 77, of Iron River, MI, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at Ascension Living in Brookfield, WI. He was born September 8, 1944 in Stambaugh, MI, the son of the late Joseph and Lorraine (Nocerini) Bociek. Leonard attended the Stambaugh Schools, graduating with the Class of 1963. Leonard married Pamela LeClair on June 18, 1966 in Stambaugh, MI. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in 2021. He retired from Connor Sports in Amasa, MI. Leonard enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid golfer and a fan of the Raiders, Yankees, and the Celtics, but he especially loved watching his children and grandchildren play Wykon sports. Leonard was an avid walker, enjoying his strolls around his neighborhood. You could always find him in the gazebo enjoying a beverage. Leonard is survived by his wife, Pam; sons, Scott (Heidi) Bociek and Todd (Amy Donati) Bociek, both of Iron River, MI; daughter, Jennifer (Dan) Schive of Iron River, MI; sisters, Frances (John) Kane of Savannah, GA, Jackie (Jim) Leppla of Appleton, WI, and Marge (Larry) VanDyke of Lansing, MI; grandchildren, Kristi (Colton) Kurtz, Allie Schive, Trey Bociek, Tori Bociek, Turner Bociek, and Avery Bociek; great grandchildren, Stella and Crew Kurtz; special sister-in-law, Roberta LeClair and her family, Robyn (Paul) Wilgreen and Jason (Jen) LeClair; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
