Lisa A. King

Lisa A. King, age 56, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born on January 22, 1967, in Iron Mountain, MI, the daughter of Sharon (Urpila) Polich and the late Jon King. She attended the West Iron County Schools and graduating with the Class of 1985. Lisa married Richard Tomasik on October 8, 2005, in Crystal Falls, MI and made their home in Iron River. The couple celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary in 2019. Richard preceded her in death on September 15, 2020. She was employed in customer service at Ski Brule. Lisa had a very strong faith in God. She was active in skiing and ski racing throughout high school and skied throughout her life. Lisa loved gardening and flowers and was a very talented artist and poet. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family and was active in their lives. She also enjoyed spending time with her very close friends. Lisa is survived by her mother, Sharon (Pat) Polich of Iron River; father, Steve (Jessica) Polich of Iron River; son, Zackary (Alex) Bond Djupe of Iron River; daughter, Danielle Lee Cunningham of Iron River; brothers, Jon (Ashley) Polich, Steven Polich, and Tate (Paige) Polich, all of Iron River; grandchildren, Cole and Alexis Cunningham and Declan Tackmier; niece, Olivia Polich; nephew, Ethan Polich: extended family and friends.
