Lisa A. Metz

Lisa A. Metz, age 53, of Caspian, MI, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility. She was born on August 9, 1966 in Sandusky, OH, the daughter of the late Donald and Ada Shirley (Northcutt) Ballah.   Lisa married Thomas Metz on June 18, 1983 in Milan, OH.  The couple celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary this summer.  She was employed as a cashier at Angeli’s for 18 years.  She enjoyed crocheting, camping, playing bingo, cooking, and spending time with her family.  Lisa is survived by her husband, Tom; sons, Keith (Ashley) Metz of Crystal Falls, MI, Tom (Crystal) Metz of Green Bay, WI, and Jacob Metz of Iron River, MI; daughter, Loni (Allison) Alejandro of Tampa, FL; brother, Donald (Lisa) Ballah Jr. of Milan, OH; sisters, Betty (Lenny) Kromer of Castalia, OH and Pamela Ballah of Sandusky, OH; five grandchildren, Jayden, Aidden, Samantha, Kaleb, and Keely; extended family and friends.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 4:00pm at the West Iron County Fire Hall, 640 N. 9th Ave., Iron River, MI.
