Lois R. Novak

Lois R. Novak, age 88, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the Iron River Care Center. Lois was born on March 2, 1932 in Nelma, WI, the daughter of the late Arnold and Cecilia (LeBlanc) Rosera. She attended the Iron River Schools. Lois married John Novak on September 18, 1971 in Garden, MI, and the couple made their home in Iron River. They celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary in 2000, before John preceded her in death on February 15, 2001. She was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Caspian, MI and St. Ann’s Society. Lois is survived by her sons, Gerald (Patricia) Bowman of Stevens Point, WI, Terrance Bowman of Park Rapids, MN, and Lawrence (Miraflor) Bowman of Willows, CA; brother, Ronald Rosera of Iron River, MI; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; extended family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Jansen and brothers, Harold, Ralph, and Eugene Rosera. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 11:00 am at Stambaugh Cemetery with Fr. Gregory Veneklase to officiate.
