Lorie A. Boodry

Lorie A. Boodry, age 54, of Tipler, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at her home. She was born on September 2, 1964 in Eagle River, WI; the daughter of the late Ralph and Arizona (Fugate) Boodry.  She attended the Florence Schools and graduated.  She later earned an Associate’s Degree in Accounting.  She was employed as a Merchandise Control Manager at Aramark Uniform Services in Caspian, MI for the last 16 years.  Lorie loved dogs, especially Boxers, and raised AKC certified dogs and enjoyed her horse, Jazzy.  She also enjoyed being on the computer playing games and puzzles and going fishing. Lorie is survived by her longtime significant other, Rick Sledge; son, Jacob Henning; grandson, Coltyn Henning; brother, Ralph “Butch” (Sharon) Boodry of Tipler, WI; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides her parents, Lorie was preceded in death by her infant son, Joshua Henning; sisters, Linda Ritchie and Loretta “Pearl” Nourse. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 10am to 12pm at Jacobs Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 12pm with Pastor Gary White to officiate.  Interment will be in Martin Cemetery in the spring.
