Lorraine J. Ferne

Lorraine J. Ferne Age 88 Iron River, MI Passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at her home. She was born May 31, 1924 in Crandon, WI, the daughter of the late Roy and Iva (Pitts) Peede graduated from Austin High School in Chicago, IL. She attended the Chicago Conservatory of Music, UW Milwaukee, and White Water State Teachers College. She worked in the Milwaukee Public Schools for 22 years as a teacher. Lorraine was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church and the Teachers Union. She enjoyed bee keeping and being outdoors. She is survived by her son, David Fernandez of Iron River Daughter, Elaine Washkuhn of Muskego, WI Eight grandchildren She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Vernon, Vincent, Keith, and her sister Lorrene.
