Lou Alice Runyon

Mrs. Lou Alice Runyon, age 91, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, the 27th day of February, 2007. Born November 14, 1915 at Atkins, Virginia to Jonas and Lou Annie Combs Parks. Alice lived most of her life in Vincence, In, as a housewife and mother, moving recently to the Amasa area. She was married to John Gross (deceased), Cobin Summers (deceased), and Charles Runyon (deceased). She was also preceded in death by brothers Alfred, John, and Howard Parks and sisters, Anabelle, Mary Lee, Peggie, Ollie Mae, Minnie Belle, and Clara. She is survived by brothers: Elmer Parks of Texas, Robert Parks of Phoenix, Arizona, and Dennis, Donnie, and Frank Parks of Louisiana; and sisters: Helen Gregary of Indiana, and Wanda Biffonani of Phoenix, Arizona. Alice is the mother of seven children: David Gross (deceased), Garland Gross of Coldwater, MI, Mary Sue Nation of Evansville, IN, Wendell Summers (deceased), Lois Cooper of Amasa, MI, Shirley Roe and Linda Westcott of Vincence, IN. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held will be held Monday, March 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Methodist Church, Amasa, MI, with Memorial Services to be conducted at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Steve Rhodes to officiate.
