On Thursday, November 30, 2023, surrounded by her family, Lucille Ann Cooley went home to be with Jesus and her husband, son, parents, sister, and beloved dog Buddy. Lucille, aka Lucy, was born in Hartford, WI on January 20, 1943, to her loving parents Karl and Regina (Schultz) Zuleger. She married Edward Lyons Sr on July 18, 1970. They had six children, Michael, Diane, Pam, Karen, Brenda, and Rodney. Lucy was an avid hobbyist. She loved crocheting, doing puzzles, gardening, perler beads, watching her beloved Atlanta Braves and Green Bay Packers, and cuddling her beloved dogs Cuddles and Buddy. Buddy crossed the rainbow bridge and was waiting for her to come home. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Ixonia, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Regina; sister, Geraldine Campbell; husband, Edward Lyons; and youngest son, Rodney Lyons. Lucille is survived by her family who loved her so much, son, Michael (Candice Fons) Lyons; daughters, Diane (Dan) McClure, Pam (David) Tape, Karen Pluger, and Brenda (Kenneth) Higgins; niece Suzanne and Royce Pieper and family; 16 grandchildren, Robert (Lacey Yates) Gulley, Justin Culver, Christopher Lyons, Brittany (Robert) Thompson, Mikayla (Chad) Davidson, Mattew (Sara) Tape, Melissa Tape, Paige (Christopher Hill) Tape, Karen Pluger, Bonnie Pluger, Bobbi Jo Pluger, William Pluger, Whitney Bartz, Jeremiah (Nicole) Schultz, Megan (Louie) Gonzalez, Nicholas (Dayton) Schultz, and Edward (Rayven Crossland) Lyons; 24 great grandchildren, Tyler, Laylan, Sarah, Cruz, Taylor, Michael, Daniel, Uriah, Miles, Olivia, Zachary, Natalie, Kyle, Gavin, Carmine, Sheridan, Hunter, Wyatt, Huck, Remington, Zoey, Celia, Briar, and Blake; extended family and friends. She will be missed terribly. Private family services will be held.
