Lucille E. Hooper Age 94 Iron River, MIDied Friday November 19, 2010 at the Northstar Health System, Iron River. Born: October 22, 1916 in Stambaugh, MI The daughter of the late Nelson and Iva (Matthews) Potter attended the Iron River Schools and graduated. Lucille Married Robert Hooper on March 31, 1933, and the couple made their home in Stambaugh Township. Robert preceded her in death. Lucille was employed as a cook for various restaurants in the area including The Iron Inn, Travelers Restaurant, Mertins Cafe and the Cake Shop. She spent the last 30 years wintering in Florida. She was preceded in death by her sister Beverly Petroff; brothers, Ivan and Clair Potter; and grandchild, Kim. She is survived by two sons; Robert (Sue) Hooper of Iron River Jim Hooper of Chicago, IL Daughter; Bonnie Levindski of Iron River Brother-in-law, Jack Petroff of Iron River Ten grandchildren; Robin, Cindy, Michael, Patrick, Taylor, Todd, Ricky, Debbie, Julie, and Ashley Twelve great grandchildren Six great, great grandchildren Nieces, nephews, and extended family Private family services will be held.
