Lynne Wilkins

Lynne Dorothy Wilkins of Iron River, MI, peacefully passed away on May 14, 2021 after a short illness. Lynne was born in Detroit, MI on September 29, 1936 to Nicholas and Nita (Crabbe) Nikitin. She was the sixth of nine children. Lynne was married to Gerald Wilkins on May 25, 1957 and the couple came to Iron River in 1973. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Iron River. Her mornings were spent having breakfast at Mr. T’s and she loved reading and cooking. She is survived by her daughter, Joanne (Dennis) Whitley of St. Joe, FL; granddaughter, Lane of St. Joe, FL; son, Fred Wilkins of Coal Creek, CO; and sister, Nadja Jeffrey. In her last years, Lynne was a good friend to Bucky. She will be dearly missed. Interment will be in Stambaugh Cemetery.
