Mae Alice Lambert

Mae Alice Lambert, age 80, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital. She was born on March 26, 1941, in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Clyde and Lorraine (LaFountain) Scuffham. She attended and graduated from the Stambaugh Schools with the Class of 1959. Mae Alice married Joseph Lambert Jr. on June 20, 1959, at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Stambaugh, MI. The couple celebrated 58 wonderful years together, before Joseph preceded her in death on October 23, 2017. She was employed as a baker in the grocery store industry for 15 years. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, crocheting, gardening, reading, working crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandkids. Mae Alice is survived by sons, Daniel (Carrie) Lambert of Manistique, MI, and Thomas (Cathy) Lambert of Murfreesboro, TN; daughters, Cathleen Eiben of Manistee, MI, Debra (Gary) Mason of Woodland, MI and Linda Lambert (Steven Hill) of Iron River, MI; brother, Kyme (Kathy) Scuffham of Peoria, IL; sisters-in-law, Eileen (Tom) Hendrickson of Madison, WI and Donna (Larry) Campbell of Springfield, TN; 11 grandchildren; nine great grandsons and three great granddaughters; and babies on the way, many nieces, nephews, and extended family; and very special caregiver, Tanya Kallio. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother, James Scuffham and brother-in-law, Raymond Lambert. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 2:30 to 3:30 pm at Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 3:30 pm with Pastor James Pellizzer to officiate.
