Margaret R. Wells

Margaret R. Wells, age 92, of Tipler, WI, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born on February 17, 1929, in Pleasant Prairie, WI, the daughter of the late Harry and Ella (Johnson) Skau. Margaret married Arnold C. Wells on December 21, 1950. The couple celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary in 1992. Arnold preceded her in death on January 4, 1993. She was employed as a general laborer for Anchor Hocking. Margaret was an active member of Bethel’s Lighthouse Church in Long Lake, WI. She enjoyed gardening, needle punching, puzzles, crafts, and especially loved spending time with her family. Margaret is survived by her sons, Reed Wells of Tipler, WI, Dan (Jane) Hudson of Florida, Mark and Robert Wells, both of Kenosha, WI, Michael (Sue) Wells of Arizona, and Dean Crawford of Florida; daughters, Janice Neuhaus of Arizona, Linda Wells of Kenosha, WI, Carol (Joe) Kealiher of Abrams, WI, Kathy Wells of Kenosha, WI, Lori Schwenn of Long Lake, WI, and Denise (Ken) Henning of Tipler, WI; 32 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her son, James Hudson; brothers, Harry, Richard, Edward, and Michael Skau; and sister-in-law, Glenna Tjaden. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, from 10am to 12pm at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 12pm with Rev. Dale Richie to officiate.
