Maria Denise Mcintosh

Maria “Denise” McIntosh, age 49, of Alvin, WI, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at her home. Denise, also known to her niece and nephews as “Neice”, was born March 15, 1965 in Milwaukee, WI, to Arnold and Mary (Brazell) McIntosh. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin Parkside, with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Denise loved working with troubled youth at Racine Run-A-Way. A country girl at heart, she loved the Alvin area, the outdoors, camping, gardening, animals, especially dogs, and taking photographs. Denise is survived by Terry Stapleton, her companion for many years , who loved and cared for her; two sisters, Kathryn (John) Decker of Grand Rapids, MI, and Linda (Roger) Kaminski of Pleasant Prairie, WI; brother, Michael (Susan) McIntosh of Waukesha, WI; niece, Theresa Kaminski, and nephews, Matthew and Bradley Decker, Tony McIntosh, and Justin Kaminski; great nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, and nephew, Jason McIntosh. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River, MI. Funeral services at 11:45 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, with Pastor Dawn Treado Green to officiate.
