Marie B. Trilik

Marie B. Trilik, 86, of Oak Park, IL, formerly of Iron River, MI, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at West Lake Hospital, Melrose Park, IL. She was born February 21, 1927 in Iron River, MI, the daughter of the late Olaf R. and Emma P. (Larson) Bergman. She attended the Iron River Schools, graduating from Iron River High School with the Class of 1945. She was a self-employed caterer for 35 years. Marie married John D. Trilik on November 11, 1956 in Chicago, IL. John preceded her in death on March 15, 2012. Marie was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church of Oak Park. She loved to crochet, cook and vacation. Marie unofficially adopted many of her children 's and grandchildren 's friends, treating them as her own children and grandchildren. She loved being around her family and friends and cherished every moment with them. She is survived by her son, John David (Linda) Trilik of Oak Park, IL; daughter, Pauline (Brian) Sharpe of Oak Park, IL; son-in-law, George Guerrido of Franklin Park, IL; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Marie Guerrido. Graveside services will be held at Bates Township Cemetery, Iron River, in the spring.
