Marion L. Phillips

Marion L. Phillips, age 94, of Crystal Falls, MI, passed away from a brief illness on Monday, January 13, 2020 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility.  She was born on December 22, 1925 in Iron Mountain, MI, the daughter of the late Arvid and Saima (Rantala) Phillips. She attended and graduated from the Crystal Falls Schools. Marion loved the outdoors and animals, especially cats and dogs.  She played the violin and loved music. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Phillips, brothers, Jack and James and sisters, Laverne and Saima. Marion is survived by her son, Louis Virgo of Ogden Dunes, IN; daughters, Cathy Virgo of San Diego, CA and Louise (Jerry) Grant of Jupiter, FL; grandchildren; brother, Earl Phillips of Huntley, IL; nieces, nephews, and extended family.
