Marshall E. Nordstrom

Marshall E. Nordstrom, 90, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Aspirus Rhinelander, WI Hospital. He was born on March 10, 1934, in Beechwood, MI, the son of the late Walter and Irene (Monhead) Nordstrom. Marshall married Marjorie Teeter on July 13, 1957, at the First Baptist Church in Iron River. The couple celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary in 2019. Marjorie preceded him in death on October 20, 2019. He was employed as a truck driver and woodsman. Marshall attended First Baptist Church in Iron River. He enjoyed telling jokes, carpentry, building model cars, reading, and watching sports. Marshall is survived by his sons, Irving (Hiedi) Nordstrom of Griswold, CT and Marshall Nordstrom of Iron River, MI; daughters, Linda Nordstrom, Teresa Nordstrom, and Connie Nordstrom, all of Iron River, MI; daughter-in-law, Jeanne Nordstrom of Iron River, MI; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brothers, James (Lori) Nordstrom and Joseph (Debra) Nordstrom, both of Iron River, MI; sisters, Shirley Lambert of Iron River, MI, Patsy Prepodnik of Iron River, MI, and Karen Potter of Mishawaka, IN; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Marsha Nordstrom and son, Kevin Nordstrom; brothers, Ralph, Lyle, Lauren, Donald, Marvin, Ronald, and Floyd Nordstrom; and sisters, Margaret Salzeider and Joan Maki. Visitation will be held on Thursday October 3, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Iron River, MI.
