Martha M. Schultz

Martha M. Schultz, age 80 of Watersmeet, MI, died Friday, October 2, 2009 at the Iron River Care Center, Iron River, MI. Born: October 28, 1928 in Houghton, MI The daughter of the late Alex and Anna (Hendrickson) Tepsa attended the Houghton schools and graduated from Houghton High School. She then attended nursing school in Milwaukee, WI where she earned her degree as a registered nurse. Martha married Elwood Walter Schultz October 12, 1955 in Houghton. Walter preceded her in death. She was employed for over 10 years as a cook at the Lac Vieux Desert Casino prior to her retirement. Martha liked to cook and enjoyed going to the casino. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Ernest, Kenneth, Stanley and Arthur. She is survived by her daughter, Deb Schultz (David Schrader) of Watersmeet Sister, Janet Runtamaki of Houghton, MI Three grandchildren Two great grandchildren Nieces and nephews Private family services will be held.
