Martin Menghini

Martin Menghini Age 91 Iron River, MIPassed away Friday, December 2, 2011 at his home. Born: September 15, 1920 in Vulcan, MI. The son of the late August and Ida (Mativa) Menghini attended the Vulcan Schools. Martin married the former Joyce Prue on September 3, 1957 in Crandon, WI and the couple made their home in Gibbs City. They celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 2007. Joyce preceded him in death on September 10, 2007. He was employed in construction for many years, retiring in 1982. Martin was well known for his Christmas Tree Farm. He belonged to the Operaters Engineer Union Local 324. Martin also enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and was a great cribbage player. He was also preceded in death by six brothers, August, William, Vincent, Wesley, George and John Menghini, and six sisters, Emma, Lillian, Violet, Gertrude, Ida, and Margaret.
