Mary Louise Balducci

Mary Louise Balducci, age 90, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls, MI. She was born on July 3, 1930 in Gaastra, MI, the daughter of the late Luigi and Maria (Biondi) Balducci. She attended the Stambaugh Schools, graduating with the Class of 1948. Mary Louise was the owner of the family business, Balducci’s Supper Club and Frozen Foods in Gaastra for many years. She attended the Foursquare Church in Rhinelander, WI, and in her later years was affiliated with the Upper Peninsula River Church in Iron River, MI. Mary Louise’s greatest love was her family and spending time with them. She enjoyed reading, journaling, crocheting, and politics. Mary Louise is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Danny) Byczek of Iron River, MI and Faye (Michael) Porier of Denton, TX; grandchildren, Todd (Amy) Byczek, Mark (Kelly) Byczek, Jeremy (Rachel) Porier, Christopher (Mindy) Porier, and Jennifer (Scott) Cartwright; 11 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Scott Byczek and brother and sister-in-law, Amelio and Violet Balducci. Private family services will be held. Interment will be in Stambaugh Cemetery.
