Mary E. Brey

Mary E. Brey, 68, of Iron River, MI passed away on July 9, 2025.

She was born on July 4, 1957, in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth (Nasser) Brey. She attended the local schools, graduating from West Iron County High School with the class of 1975.

Mary enjoyed cooking, listening to Milwaukee Brewers baseball games, and listening to music, especially 1970s Rock.

Mary is survived by her son, Todd Hooper of Iron River; brothers, Jim (Jill) Brey of Iron River and Walter (Doris) Brey of Kingsford, MI; sister, Christine Selden of Crystal Falls, MI, brother-in-law, Eddie Fernandes; close friend, Melanie Menghini; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jeanne Fernandes.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 at noon at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River with Fr. Daniel Fosu to officiate.
